Project Overview
Shatter is a revolutionary platform designed to close the gender and pay gap by closing the networking gap. Founded by Amy Vaughan, CEO of Together Digital, Shatter aims to break the glass ceiling by making networking more accessible, safe, and empowering for women.
As a new app in development, Shatter required a bold, standout logo and a comprehensive brand identity system to establish credibility and ensure consistency across digital and print applications.
While the project is still in development, the foundational brand strategy and identity system have been tailored to position Shatter for a strong launch.

Women face persistent barriers in networking due to:
Limited time for professional connections.
A reluctance toward self-promotion in traditional networking spaces.
Lack of access to meaningful mentorship in male-dominated industries.
Shatter sought to reinvent networking at the intersection of technology and meaningful connection, but first, it needed a strong brand identity and user-friendly app design to:
Convey trust, empowerment, and inclusivity.
Stand out in the competitive networking app space.
Ensure brand consistency across digital platforms and marketing.

To address these challenges, I provided creative direction and led the development of a cohesive brand system, working alongside a team of developers to shape the app’s visual and functional design.
1. Logo & Brand Identity
Designed a bold, modern logo with variations for app, web, and print.
Developed a comprehensive brand identity system with typography, color palette, and scalable assets for consistency.
Created brand guidelines to ensure cohesive application across all platforms.
2. App Creative Direction
Collaborated with developers to establish a visually cohesive, user-friendly app interface.
Provided UI/UX recommendations for seamless navigation and interaction.
Ensured the app’s design aligned with Shatter’s mission and brand values.
3. App Design
Created high-fidelity mockups that integrated branding elements.
Selected and refined app icons for a consistent, polished look.
Ensured the app’s visual design consistently reflected the brand, from colors and typography to icons and layout.
