Tell me more

  • As a brand identity designer, I create visual elements representing a company or organization. This includes designing logos, selecting color schemes and typography, and developing other visual assets that convey the company’s values and brand message. I also create brand guidelines that ensure consistency across all marketing materials. My ultimate goal is to create a recognizable brand identity that resonates with the target audience and helps the company stand out in its market.

  • I enjoy connecting with individuals who are passionate about their business goals, creating designs that reflect the brand’s personality, and witnessing the final result add value to the business. Designing a brand is like working through a puzzle, organizing and sorting the pieces to create a complete picture. During the concept phase, the brand’s identity materializes, and so much creative potential is unlocked. It’s a very energizing and exciting experience.

  • I enjoy collaborating with small businesses, especially women-owned businesses, who are passionate about their mission and want to invest in designing a brand that connects with their customers and showcases their product or service.

I have the pleasure of working with clients from a diverse range of backgrounds, each with their own unique branding needs. Some are just starting out and require a comprehensive brand identity, such as a logo and brand elements, that will last for years. Others have been in business for years and require a brand refresh because their current look is outdated and no longer resonates with their target audience. Some need consistent marketing materials to strengthen their credibility. My main objective is to create an aesthetic that aligns with the brand’s goals and connects with its customers in a personal and memorable way.

  • I’m based in sunny Orlando and typically work with clients in the Central and Eastern time zones. While I primarily work solo, I have a network of talented people with whom I frequently collaborate for larger projects.

  • I prefer to schedule virtual meetings using Zoom or Google Meet and use email or phone calls for non-screen share correspondence.

  • I’m also a photographer by education and trade. My education and experience in photography is an added bonus to the process. It gives me a different perspective when working with brands. I can provide photography direction and style guidance aligning with your brand aesthetic.

Background and education

I earned my B.A. in Studio Art with a double emphasis in photography and graphic design from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

For eight years following graduation, I worked as a lifestyle photographer, art director, and creative director for various creative companies, including Little Rock-based lifestyle magazine, AY, and a boutique branding agency, Thoma Thoma. At the end of 2018, my family moved to central Florida, and I started my own creative studio.
