Hey there, I’m Sara.

I’m a brand identity designer.

I collaborate with small businesses, often women-owned, to create new or refine existing branding that engages their audience and helps them share their authentic story.

With a background in lifestyle photography and graphic design, I create logos and comprehensive brand identities that establish a personal connection and help define your unique position.

My passion lies in guiding clients through the branding journey, ensuring they gain clarity and confidence. Let's work together to bring your brand's personality to life and help you stand out in the digital space.

Tell me more

  • I help small businesses bring their brand to life through thoughtful, strategic design. That means crafting visual identities—like logos, color palettes, typography, and brand elements—that reflect who they are and connect with the people they’re trying to reach.

I also create brand guidelines to make sure everything stays consistent across the board—from packaging and social graphics to websites and beyond. My goal? To design a brand that not only looks good but feels right—one that tells your story, builds trust, and stands out in a crowded market.

  • I do this work because I’ve seen what the right branding can unlock for a business. When clients see their vision reflected clearly—maybe for the first time—it builds confidence. Suddenly, they’re showing up more boldly, attracting the right audience, and making decisions with clarity and purpose.

Helping clients move from feeling unsure or disconnected from their brand to feeling excited, proud, and aligned—that’s what drives me. It’s not just about making things look good; it’s about creating a visual identity that helps their business grow and feel more like them.

  • I partner with small marketing teams and small businesses—often women-led—that care deeply about what they do and how they show up. Whether they’re just getting started or have been building their business for years, my clients are ready to invest in branding that tells their story and truly connects with their audience.

Some come to me to build a brand identity from scratch—something that feels like them and can grow with their business. Others are ready for a refresh because their current visuals no longer reflect where they’re headed. And many need support creating consistent, intentional materials that build credibility and help their brand stand out.

No matter where they are in the journey, I’m here to translate their vision into something beautiful, strategic, and lasting.

  • I'm based in sunny Orlando, Florida, and work with clients all across the U.S.—coast to coast. While I run my own independent studio, I often collaborate with a close-knit network of creatives—writers, content strategists, and developers—when a project calls for it. I stay focused on brand identity design, while tapping into other specialists to bring well-rounded support to each project.

Even if we're miles apart, my process is built to be flexible for remote collaboration.

  • Most of my meetings happen virtually—usually over Zoom or Google Meet—so we can share screens and collaborate in real time. For quick check-ins or updates, email and phone calls work great too. I aim to keep communication clear, flexible, and easy for you.

I do my best work during my studio hours (Monday through Friday, 9a–2p ET), so that’s when you can expect timely responses and updates.

  • Yes! I’m also a photographer by education and trade—and that creative lens is a bonus I bring into every branding project. It gives me a strong eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling, which directly shapes how I approach visual identity design.

This translates to your brand project in a few key ways: I create custom photography style guides to ensure your visuals feel cohesive, polished, and on-brand—whether you're working with a professional photographer or sourcing images. I also curate stock image libraries that align with your brand’s aesthetic and tone.

If you're planning a brand or product shoot, I help guide the process by offering insight and creative direction to ensure the final images support and strengthen your brand identity.

My goal is to make sure every image you use aligns beautifully with your brand and helps tell your story with clarity and confidence.

Background and education

I earned my B.A. in Studio Art with a double emphasis in photography and graphic design from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2010.

For eight years following graduation, I worked as a lifestyle photographer, art director, and creative director for various creative companies, including Little Rock-based lifestyle magazine, AY, and a boutique branding agency, Thoma Thoma.

At the end of 2018, my family moved to Central Florida, where I started my own creative studio. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate on branding projects that span strategy, visual identity, packaging, and digital design—partnering with photographers, strategists, web developers, coaches, and supporting creative efforts for both local meet-ups and virtual events.

Curious about working together? I'd love to hear from you.
