Hey there, I’m Sara.

I'm a brand identity designer based just outside Orlando, Florida.

I work with small businesses, a lot of them women-owned, to build branding that actually feels like them. Not just a pretty logo, but the whole visual story. The kind that makes their audience stop scrolling and think, yes, this is exactly who I want to work with.

I come from a background in lifestyle photography and graphic design, which basically means I've always been obsessed with how things look and feel and why they work. That curiosity drives everything I do.

If you're ready to build a brand with some real personality behind it, I'd love to be the one to help you get there.

Tell me more

  • I help small businesses build brands that feel like them and connect with the people they're trying to reach. That means logos, color palettes, typography, and brand elements. The whole visual identity, plus brand guidelines so everything stays consistent once the project is done.

I want to design something that doesn't just look good but genuinely feels right. The kind of brand that builds trust, tells your story, and makes you want to actually show up and use it.

  • Because there's nothing quite like the moment a client sees their brand come together and gets excited about the work they’re doing. That shift from being uncertain to saying, oh, this is exactly us … I live for that.

I've seen what the right branding can unlock. Confidence, clarity, the kind of momentum that makes you show up differently. That's what I'm here to help create.

  • Mostly small businesses and small marketing teams, often women-led, who care a lot about how they show up and are ready to invest in branding that actually reflects that.

Some are starting from scratch. Some have outgrown their current look. Some just need consistent, intentional materials that make everything feel more pulled together. Wherever you are, I'm here to help translate your vision into something that lasts.

  • I'm based just outside Orlando and work with clients all over the U.S. My process is built for remote collaboration, so distance has never been an issue.

I do often collaborate with other specialists, writers, strategists, and developers, when a project calls for it. I stay in my lane with brand identity and make sure everything else is covered by people I trust.

  • Virtually, usually over Zoom or Google Meet. We can share screens, look at things together, and I get to see your face when something clicks, which honestly is my favorite part.

My studio hours are Monday through Friday, 9a–2p ET, so that's when you'll hear back from me most quickly.

  • My background is actually in photography, it's where I started, and that creative eye still shapes how I approach every brand project. I think about composition, lighting, and storytelling even when I'm not behind a camera.

In practice, that means I can help you create a photography style guide, curate stock imagery that fits your brand, and offer creative direction if you're planning a shoot. I want every image you use to feel intentional and on-brand rather than like it wandered in from somewhere else.

Background and education

I earned my B.A. in Studio Art with a double emphasis in photography and graphic design from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2010. Apparently I have a hard time doing just one thing at a time. Turns out those two are like peanut butter and jelly.

After graduation, I spent eight years as a lifestyle photographer, art director, and creative director, including time at a Little Rock lifestyle magazine, AY, and a boutique branding agency, Thoma Thoma. I loved the creative work, but the environments weren't a good fit for me, and I knew I wanted something different.

In 2018, my husband's career brought our family to Central Florida, a place we already loved and a favorite vacation spot. It felt like the right moment to build something of my own. So in 2019, I launched Sara Neal Creative Studio and haven't looked back.

These days I work with clients across the country on branding projects that span strategy, visual identity, packaging, and digital design. I'm also an active member of Together Digital, a community of women in digital marketing and creative fields that I genuinely love being part of.

Curious about working together? I'd love to hear from you.
